New Polling Numbers Show Jeffries With Sizeable Lead Over Incumbent in Riverside County Supervisor Race

Good news for those desiring a change in Riverside County! A poll of likely voters released by Probolsky Research (link provided below) shows Kevin Jeffries has opened up a 41% to 31% lead over 20-year incumbent Bob Buster in the race for the 1st District Supervisor’s seat.

Kevin Jeffries’ plans for Job Creation, Safe Neighborhoods, Transparency, Private Property Rights, Protecting Our Quality of Life, and other reforms to how your government operates have clearly caught fire amongst likely voters, with Kevin showing a lead amongst nearly every demographic sampled in the poll.  (Click here to read the full article about "Kevin's Seven" proposals for Riverside County.)

Meanwhile, despite a fund-raising advantage and 20 years worth of opportunities to make a good impression on the residents of the 1stSupervisorial District, this poll shows the incumbent’s support has declined even from the June election. His financial support has dwindled to a base of little more than developers who are afraid to oppose him, and county contractors who think they owe it to him.

“The only poll that matters is on Election Day, but I’m glad to see some objective data that confirms what I’ve been hearing out amongst the residents of the 1st District,” said Jeffries. “I’ve sensed a real desire for change in the neighborhoods I’ve been walking, and this polling seems to show that we’re on the right track, and that we need to maintain this momentum for another three weeks!”

There are many ways to help the Jeffries campaign sprint to the finish line on November 6th. We have volunteers walking with door hangers every day of the week from Riverside to Wildomar, with larger, organized walks on the weekends. We also have phone lists available for people to call areas that are "unwalkable", either from home or at organized phone banks. Donations are also important—as we’ve already given out all our yard signs and are on our third printing of campaign material, and need to remain competitive with mail in the final three weeks.
