News Details
25 days until Election Day - A Message from Kevin Jeffries for Supervisor (05/10/2012)

Your Vote Will Count On June 5th!

Absentee and vote-by-mail ballots are arriving this week! Are you ready to turn the page and fight for a better Riverside County?

Job Creation? We are still over 12% unemployment! We are chasing jobs away!

Keeping Our Communities Safe? Our Frontline Sheriff Patrols are being cut and 1500 Inmates have been given Early Release back into our communities!

Real Pension Reform? The Incumbent Supervisor has amassed a $139,000 pension, and it could keep growing if he is re-elected to a 6th Term!

Government Spending? Our County now has a MASSIVE $1.9 Billion Debt from Redevelopment Projects. This debt will be handed down to our children!

We have a great opportunity to wipe the slate clean of 20 years of old political battle lines and insider favoritism. We can bring new positive energy to the First District office that will actually fight to help small and medium businesses to locate and grow in Riverside County and create new jobs in our communities. Let’s stop chasing jobs to Orange and San Diego Counties.

The Incumbent has spent a great deal of time and money attacking me. He even tied up our overburdened court system for his own personal political games. He failed. He is desperate to maintain his power, pay ($170,000 last year) and perks ($139,000 pension) by seeking a 6th term.

I believe that we are ready for a fresh positive vision. As a small business owner, family man, former volunteer Firefighter and as a longtime Riverside County resident who has worked with our state and local governments, with local Chambers of Commerce and non-profits - you can be assured that I’m ready to fight and work hard for the families, taxpayers, small businesses in our communities and to protect our quality of life.
