Campaign Update, March (03/01/2012)

Dear Friends & Supporters,

I have some great news about the on-going success of our campaign. Our message of Jobs – Not Taxes is resonating all across Riverside County! Please take a moment to read what’s happening.

Campaign Headquarters:

This Saturday, March 3rd at 11am we will have the Grand Opening of our Southwest Campaign Headquarters. Please join us at 11am for the ribbon-cutting (or anytime from 10am till 3pm). The address is 31861 Mission Trail, Lake Elsinore, near Diamond Drive & I-15 (near the stadium).

Endorsements:

This week the Jeffries for Supervisor campaign received a letter from the Riverside County Farm Bureau notifying us that they voted to ENDORSE my campaign! My on-going commitment to preserving our farm and agricultural lands and protecting private property rights, as well as my work for reliable and affordable water for all is recognized by this highly coveted endorsement.

The Riverside County Farm Bureau endorsement is the latest in a string of highly respected organizations endorsing the campaign. This includes the California Small Business Association, Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association, National Tax Limitation Committee and the Riverside County Deputy District Attorney’s Association (plus numerous local community leaders).

Pension Reform:

This past week I was very pleased to join with numerous elected leaders at our State Capitol to call for and introduce legislation that seeks significant statewide reform to public employee pensions. If approved by the voters, this 12 point plan will save California taxpayers tens of millions of dollars in the years to come and help Riverside County and its schools and cities with their struggling budgets.

You Can Help:

In just a few days we will be closing-in on the final 90 days before the June 5th election. Your financial support will help usher in a new era in Riverside County. If you have followed the news reports then you know that I’m competing head-to-head with the entrenched incumbent. Your contribution before the next reporting deadline of March 17th will help us bring about positive change this June! Please visit the campaign website at: www.KevinJeffries.com to make a contribution.

Thank you again for your support.

Respectfully,

Kevin Jeffries
